The Anglicon heating jackets consist of heating elements sandwiched between two pieces of silicone rubber thus producing a thin, robust yet highly flexible mat. This mat can then be wrapped around an object to be heated, typically a bioreactor. When activated, the complete surface area of the jacket heats therefore providing uniform heating with excellent heat transfer characteristics.
